As I've gotten older, I've realized the things we remember most are rarely the grand gestures. They're the familiar ones that quietly become part of the story.

We don't always recognize them in the moment. They're simply part of what made celebrations feel complete - like the birthday cake decoration that my mom hung every year. It wasn't until I was older that I realized those simple things had become the memories I carried with me.

That's what inspired Madly Made.

I wanted to create handmade pieces that become part of the celebrations, traditions, and ordinary moments that families return to year after year. 

Pieces that are worth keeping - not because they're perfect, but because of the memories they gather along the way. 

Why "Madly Made"?

Madly is a nod to my name, Madilyn. It's also a reflection of how I move through the world. I pour myself into the things I create, pay attention to the smallest details, and find a lot of joy in making something feel just right. Whether I'm creating something by hand or spending time with the people I love, my intention is always to give my whole heart.

So while "Madly" might sound a little chaotic (You should see the state of my craft room), it's really meant in the best way. For me, it means loving the process so much that I can't quite leave it alone. It's searching for the perfect fabric, refining one more tiny detail, and staying up too late because I'm excited about what I'm working on. That's the heart behind everything I make.
